Jessica Vazquez

I am Jessica Vazquez, a dedicated educator currently in my final semester of graduate studies, where I am completing my Master's in Early Childhood Education. I earned my bachelor's degree in the same field, graduating cum laude in Fall 2020, and further specialized with a Graduate Certificate in Communication Sciences & Disorders in 2021. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, working primarily with children ages 0-5. Currently, I teach second grade and am passionate about fostering a love of learning in my students.

In the near future, I hope to step into a leadership role as a director within a private or Catholic school. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, volunteering at my church, and singing professionally.

Jakierra Joseph

Hi, I’m Jakierra Joseph. I am a Master’s student with over three years of experience in early education. I am currently a teacher’s assistant, where I help guide, teach, and support students in their overall development. Teaching is more than just a job to me, I believe it is my calling for each day in the classroom to strive for greatness from my students. The most rewarding experience as an educator is knowing how I can play a crucial role in shaping their future. Seeing their growth is always a reminder of why I chose this path.
Beyond my professional life, I like to travel and sightsee. I am always trying to find new places to explore. I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family playing board games or having movie nights. I love outdoor nature walks or feeding birds at the park. Thank you for getting to know me and my passion for being an educator.

Kazi Liza

I am currently a graduate research student in the Teaching and Learning department at Florida International University (FIU) and an adjunct lecturer at FIU’s Language Institute. With over a decade of teaching experience across Bangladesh, Australia, Japan, and the United States, I have been fortunate to work with students of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and educational needs, which has enriched my perspective as both an educator and researcher. My goal is to contribute to transformative change in the teaching and learning framework in Bangladesh, fostering educational environments that encourage critical thinking, adaptability, and global awareness. As a mother of two, I am committed to modeling resilience and a growth mindset in both my personal and professional life, believing that these qualities are essential for thriving in our rapidly evolving world.
